Empty kids playground during the devastating Orroral valley bushfires I had a P2 face mask when I took this picture. During the bushfires Canberrans were locked in their homes with sealed windows to protect from the smoke of the devastating bushfires that made world headlines, all shops were out of air purifiers. I went out almost every day to document this tragedy capturing the empty city under the thick smoke, I photographed many places but my favourite spot was National Arboretum (where this playground is located) you never see this place without kids, but during the fires it felt like an otherworldly deserted structure.
